Side by side
Two addresses on one line, and a decision that stays with you.
Every note we send rests on a single comparison: the address the company uses now, set beside the exact name. This page shows how we make that comparison and what we leave out of it.
What we look at
We start from the company, not from the name. Before writing, we read what the company actually sells, where it delivers, what its trucks and invoices say, and how its staff answer the phone.
Then we ask a narrow question: would someone who knows this business type the name we hold, and land where they meant to go? If the honest answer is no, we do not write.
The usual gaps
Invented examples, to show the shape of the comparison. They are not names we hold.
| The gap | Today | Exact |
|---|---|---|
| A hyphen | prairie-hinges.com | prairiehinges.com |
| An added word | getgrainbins.com | grainbins.com |
| A city tag | kcpalletsupply.com | palletsupply.com |
| A different ending | coldfreight.net | coldfreight.com |
What we leave out
No search-ranking promises, no traffic projections, no talk of competitors buying the name first. Those claims are hard to check and easy to inflate, and you would be right to discount them.
We also leave out pressure. One note, perhaps a short follow-up, and then we stop. A no is a complete answer and we treat it as one.
